The present study aims to analyze the need for representation guaranteed by the State in Access to Justice for the vulnerable through the Public Defender's Office, progressively acting in the promotion, prevention and defense of human rights, including with the daily use of the American Convention on Human Rights and other American human rights treaties, as well as advisory reports, decisions and opinions issued by the Commission and the Inter-American Court, in addition to forwarding complaints to the Inter-American Human Rights System. In this sense, the methodology of the present study started from a theoretical analysis - using as a base several doctrines and scientific articles from the legal branch - jurisprudence - in actions judged before the Superior Court of Justice - and normative - through regulations of the International Court of Human Rights.
