A instituição da justiça em face das injustiças epistêmicas da violência sexual

O presente artigo questiona a possibilidade de a justiça, entendida como instituição, se transformar ao reconhecer como injustiças estruturais as injustiças epistémicas relacionadas com o abuso sexual. Para isso, analisarei a decisão da juíza Rosemary Aquilina de convidar mais de 150 sobreviventes de abuso sexual para prestar depoimento no julgamento de Larry Nassar. Defendo que este ato de ouvir e acompanhar as sobreviventes durante as audiências reconhece o valor de narrar a experiência do abuso sexual, mostra os danos da injustiça epistémica pelos preconceitos que interferem na credibilidade das vítimas e as estruturas de poder que silenciam os testemunhos. Em um segundo momento, analiso as audiências em que há uma participação coletiva das sobreviventes como um espaço de acompanhamento que as empodera enquanto sujeitos epistêmicos e agentes morais.
