O PRINCÍPIO DA IMUTABILIDADE RELATIVA DO NOME CIVIL E SUAS PRINCIPAIS FLEXIBILIZAÇÕES

This scientific article approches how the evolution of the civil name and the flexibility of the principle of relative immutability in legislation and especially in current jurisprudence occurs, highlighting what are the challenges faced by law operators in this process. Through the analysis of the law, doctrine and jurisprudence of the higher courts, the elaboration of this work was sought, which initially discusses the civil name, its concept and mainly the legal nature to later enter into the principle of relative immutability and its possible legislative and jurisprudential flexibilities in contemporary society. It highlights what factors have been taken into account by the higher courts and also the challenges faced by them regarding the theme. Through qualitative research, the trajectory of the civil name as a personality right and its reflexes in an application that always seeks the full exercise of its social function.
