The scientific article intends to expose the basis of the use of handcuffs and stigmatizers clothes (such as prison uniforms) on the Brazilian criminal procedural law with an amphasis in the special procedural of the Jury Criminal Court, under the philosophical, historiographical and juridial lens, weaving critical comments of this subject in the light of the binding precedent n. 11 of the Supreme Court of Brazil, in order to avoid a negative influence on the members of the jury.
